Palette generation is spot on accurate
Tested the color palette generation against manual WCAG checks and everything came back correct. The browser performance is snappy even with complex palettes. Export options are solid—CSS variables, JSON, whatever you need. This is my go-to now.
Perfect for accessible design system creation
I needed to build a design system that met WCAG AA standards and UIXColors made it effortless. The contrast checking is accurate, the palette generation is smart, and the design token extraction saved me hours of manual work. The fact that it's completely free is mind-blowing. Using it for all future projects.
Finally a color tool that actually checks WCAG
Been using UIXColors for about a month now and it's saved me so much time. The WCAG compliance checker is genuinely accurate—I've cross-referenced it with other tools and the contrast ratios match up perfectly. No signup required which I appreciate. The CSS variables export is clean and works great in my projects.
Solid tool, but contrast checker could be clearer
Been using UIXColors for a few weeks now to build palettes for our design system. The WCAG compliance checking is solid and saved us from shipping some inaccessible colors. My only gripe is the contrast checker UI feels a bit cramped when you're comparing multiple color pairs at once. Still, no signup required and the CSS variables export works great.
Finally a free tool that actually works
No signup required, no watermarks, no upsell. Just open the site and start creating accessible color palettes. I've tried a dozen other tools and most either want your email or have limited features behind a paywall. UIXColors lets you extract design tokens and export everything as CSS variables without any friction. This is exactly what indie designers need.
WCAG checking is a lifesaver for accessibility
Our team uses this constantly now. The WCAG compliance feature actually makes a difference—we caught several palette issues that would've failed audits. The interface is intuitive enough that even our non-designers can use it. Free and no registration required makes it even better. Highly recommend.
Perfect for accessible design token extraction
Needed to pull design tokens from an existing color system and validate them for WCAG AA compliance. UIXColors did exactly that. The CSS variables export is clean and properly formatted. No signup needed. Exactly what I was looking for.
