Elena and the Secret of Avalor

Elena and the Secret of Avalor is an American animated musical children's fantasy television movie crossover between Sofia the First and Elena of Avalor and the backdoor pilot of the latter series, while the events of the film take place during the third season of the former series. Jamie Mitchell served as director, franchise creator Craig Gerber served as teleplay writer based on a story he conceived with Michael G. Stern, and both Mitchell and Gerber served as executive producers. Elena and the Secret of Avalor was released on November 20, 2016, on Disney Channel and Disney Junior. It received a nomination at the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Animated Program.
