Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Compasly uses the minimum number we need — they are listed below, with their purpose, lifetime, and category.

The cookie-consent banner lets you reject any non-essential category before they are written.

1. Essential (always on)

next-auth.session-token — keeps you signed in. HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax. Lifetime: 30 days.

NEXT_LOCALE — remembers the language you chose. Lifetime: 1 year.

cf-turnstile — Cloudflare's anti-bot challenge cookie. Set only when you submit a form. Lifetime: session.

2. Analytics (opt-in)

_plausible — anonymised page-view tracking via the privacy-friendly Plausible Analytics. No cross-site tracking, no PII, no fingerprinting. Lifetime: session.

We set this cookie only if you accept the "analytics" category in our banner.

3. Marketing (opt-in)

We do not currently set any marketing cookies. If we ever add A/B testing or remarketing pixels they will land in this category and be off by default.

4. Managing your choices

Click "Cookie settings" in the footer to re-open the banner at any time, or clear your browser storage to wipe all preferences.
