How do I write a review?
Search for the business by name in the search bar, open its profile, and click "Write a review". You'll need a free Compasly account (sign in by email or with Google).
Can a business pay to remove my review?
No. We never accept payment for removal. We only delete reviews that violate our policies (personal attacks, spam, off-topic content, copyrighted material).
I am a business owner — how do I respond to reviews?
First, claim your profile at /dashboard/claim. You can verify via DNS TXT record, HTML meta tag, work email, or manual review. Once verified, you'll see a "Reply as the business" button under every review.
Why is my review not showing?
Reviews go live immediately, but our anti-spam system may hold a small percentage for a few hours. If your review still isn't visible after 24h, email support@compasly.com with the review URL.
Can I edit or delete my review?
Yes. Open your dashboard, find the review under "My reviews", and click Edit or Delete. Deleted reviews are not recoverable.
How do I report a fake or abusive review?
Click the "Report" icon under the review card. Our moderation team reviews every report within 48 hours.
How is the rating calculated?
For now, a plain average of all published reviews. We are rolling out a Bayesian TrustScore that weights recency and verified-purchase reviews — coming Q3.
I forgot my password / can't log in.
Compasly uses passwordless sign-in: enter your email and we send a magic link. Check your spam folder. If you still cannot log in, email support@compasly.com.
