George H. W. Bush

George Herbert Walker Bush (June 12, 1924 – November 30, 2018) was the 41st president of the United States, serving from 1989 to 1993. A member of the Republican Party, he served as the 43rd vice president under Ronald Reagan. His son, George W. Bush, served as the 43rd president. Born in Milton, Massachusetts, to an old-money family with a tradition of public service, Bush was raised in Greenwich, Connecticut, and attended Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts. He enlisted in the U.S.
