30 Rock

30 Rock is an American satirical surrealist sitcom television series created by Tina Fey that originally aired on NBC from 2006 to 2013. The series, based on Fey's experiences as Saturday Night Live's head writer, takes place behind the scenes of a fictional live sketch comedy show depicted as airing on NBC. The series's name refers to New York City’s 30 Rockefeller Plaza, home to NBC Studios and Saturday Night Live. The series was produced by Lorne Michaels's Broadway Video and Fey's Little Stranger, in association with NBCUniversal. Most 30 Rock episodes were produced in a single-camera setup and were filmed in New York. The pilot episode premiered on October 11, 2006 and was followed by seven seasons.
