Promising Young Woman

Promising Young Woman is a 2020 black comedy thriller film written, directed, and co-produced by Emerald Fennell in her feature directorial debut. It stars Carey Mulligan as a young woman who pretends to be intoxicated to entrap men. Bo Burnham, Alison Brie, Clancy Brown, Chris Lowell, Jennifer Coolidge, Laverne Cox, and Connie Britton feature in supporting roles.
