Supernatural

Supernatural is an American dark fantasy television series created by Eric Kripke. It was first broadcast on The WB and subsequently on The CW for 15 seasons between September 2005 and November 2020. Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles portray Sam and Dean Winchester, two brothers who hunt supernatural creatures. As the story progresses, they fight against angels and demons to save the world from the Apocalypse. The series explores themes of found family, brotherly codependency, Americana, psychological trauma, and Judeo-Christian lore. Guest stars such as Misha Collins, Mark A. Sheppard, and Mark Pellegrino were promoted to series regulars. The project originated from Kripke's premise of a cross-country road trip and was approved by Warner Bros. It spanned four showrunner eras: Kripke, Sera Gamble, Jeremy Carver, and the duo of Andrew Dabb and Robert Singer.
